After three years of drought, the lideal season lor dairy farmers has ; come at last (writes our Tologa correspondent.) Ever since the Tologa Bay Butter Factory opened and dairying was taken up in this district, tho faUHoi'S have had to contend with dry '-j- Beason.i', which has not been conductive t» a contented state or mind regarding dairying. In conversation with -one of the local fanners andi cream, d suppliers, our correspondent was informed that the pressent season neul jjuite a 'bright prospoct tor the factory suppliers,. 'ITie factory's output last year was 47 tons or butter, out this year it was expected to reach As high as 70 to 75 tons, and considering that the price for butter-fat was hgher the .fawner could- expect to . have a really good season. There was a plentiful supply.of feed for all stock, ana this season should show what this district can really do in the dairying line under favourable conditions. ,
