« .. I 1353 IN FIVE .MONTHS. Seattle, September 30. A catch of 1353 walrus, the largest ever made in-one season, was reported by Captain 0. 1. Aimevik, of the steamer Corwin, which returned to-day from a five month's cruise in ti'e Arctic. The Corwin made two trips using Nome, Alaska, as her base.
