1 — The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company Limited report as follows:—At Levin on Wednesday wo offered a small entry of sheep, and a full yarding of cattle (principally young stock) to a good attendance ot buyers. Competition was good throughout, and with tho exception of two pens of heifers the whole of our yarding changed hands at satisfactory prices. We quote: Mixed aged ewes with lambs at foot 25s Id; medium fat cows £8 ss; forward, cows £7 ss; store cows £3 to £5 os; 2-year steers (rough) £o 2s; yearling steers (mixed colours) £2-Hs to £3 lis; yearling Jersey-cross heifers £3 to £3 0s 6cl; others £1 15b to £2 Us; heifers in calf £3 19s bd; springin gheifers £6 9s to. £7; yearling Jersey bulls £3 5s to £5 7b 6d.
