The selling prices for porkers keeps up well, and the demand is decidedly good. Wo could do with larger consignments of both honey and beeswax. There is au abundant supply of spring cabbage arriving from Hutt and country districts, and values axe low. Choice cauliflowers are in short supply, and high prices are being realised for well packed lines. The demand for lettuce has improved since last report, and choice lines are selling at satisfactory prices. Very tew swedes are offering, and high rates are ruling. Parsnips are selling at advanced rates. Choice table caxrots and white turnips are in good demand. Celery, spring oniontj, ana leeks are selling freely. The market is well supplied with rhubarb, and satisfactory puces are being obtained. Good quality Nelson green peas are arriving daily, and demand is good.
