The market is poorly suplied with tabic potatoes, and the demand is good tSoed lots are plentiful and dull of sale. Good quality seeds are still availa,ble. There is very little movement in the grain market. Wheat and oats iire somewhat -weaker. Bran and pollard having reached normal values again, bales have been brisk. There is a large demand for linseed oil cake, which is being freely used lor calf feeding, with good results. Sucrosine is lower in sympathy with pollard. Demand for root and rape seeds is decidedly good, and we are selling lai'ge quantities. vVe would like a much larger supply of porkers, and confidently invite consignments. Eggs are steady. Cheese :s still maintaining high values, and the prospects are excellent from a seller's point of view. Honey is wanted. Vegetables.—Eairly large supplies ol spring cabbage are axnving from Hutt antl country districts, and fair prices are ruling tor well-packed lines. Choice cauliflowers, which aro in short supply, are ruling at Jtugh rates. Choice lettuce meet ready sale at satisfactory prices but interior lines are slow of sale. Swedes are ruling at last week's rates. Parsnips remain dull ot sale. Choice table carrots are selling at high rates, and there is good demand for white turnips. Celery, spring onions and leeks are selling freely. There is good demand for rhubarb, which is arriving in large quantities.
