Canadian, a fail , demand, per cwt, white, 70s k> 775, coloured 77s up to 78s; English, Cheddar and Cheshire, Jinn, a moderate demand, Dls to Vda; New Zealand, steady, white and coloured 7Gs to 775; United Slates, a good demand 7l's to 71s; fine quality OSs to 70s.

Hemp.—Manila: The market is dull with a downward tendency for forward shipment owing to poor demand. The spot market Is not affected so far. New graded fair for shipment per ton £33 to £38 sss. The output from Manila for the week wars 20,U00 hales. NewZealand—The.market is steady, but the demand is only moderate.
