Kirii, J. Mciiityro , P. O. Smith, S. Oliapfin, F. W. PinJk, W. Kirk, J, Mclutyre, P. W. Goldsmith, and G. x*. Brown (.secretary). Tho president's animal report was read and adopted. It ran as follows:—In presenting tho annual report ion the season iyi-i-lo 1 desire to congratulate moiuDens on having the feeling of good foliowsliip between tlio clubs of the district continued, and friendly visits were paid to Foxfon, Shannon, Palmerston and Otaki. Visits were paid to our green by three Palmerston teams, a Shannon team and a Fox ton teain. Tho Otaki Club opened their season last Wednesday, and a couple of rinks frnni Levin club were present. I have issued a oliallonge lor the gold stars, now held in Palmerston by a rink skipped by Mr .folly. There are other trophies held by the Palmerston club which I hope we will be able to compete for this season. The Shannon Club will open their green next Wednesday, when T hope a few rinks will be able to attend from tins club. The Levin Ladies' Croquet Club joined forces with us early in the season and their presence and help was of great pleasure and benefit to us. We trust that the Club will long continue with us, as the pleasant relationships thai existed last season did a great deal towards establishing the success of our Club, both in a social and sportsmanlike sense, All that Levin Bowling Club needs to. ensure a successful season lor 1915-10 is tho support of the townspeopde in regard to club membership. 'The election ol officers resulted as follows:-- President, Mr F. G. Roc; vice-president, Mr C. ii. Pykej ground committee, Messrs Porteous, Kirk and Mclntyre; match and tournament commit tee, Messrs Porteous, Kirk and Mclntyre. It was resolved oatlfvmief Intyre. It was resolved that rinks be sent to Foxton and Shannon next Wednesday to participate in the opening games of the season in tEubC centres.

The mooting decided tiiat Levin season bo opened on Wednesday week, aud that the club secretary be authorised to engage a caretaker. Messrs «J. 13. Uunie, S. Chaplin, I ( • O. Smith, 11. Channings, J. T. Levctt. and W. M. Wilson were elected members ol the club. Visiting commercial travellers are to bo eligible for a seasun's play on payment -of half a guinea. The club membership is to be £2 llXs per member reducible to £2 2s if paid lief ore 31st December. It was decided that the Ladies' Croquet Club be allowed lull use of the green at subscription of 10s per member. Voteis of thanks wore passed to the ladies of the Croquet 01 ub lor providing afternoon tea; to the retiring secretary to the match and ground committee, tin president of the club, and Mr McTntvre (for his services as green supervisor),
