The market is poorly euplied with tabic potatoes, and tho demand is good Seed lots are plentiful and dull of sale. Good quality seeds are still available, liieiv is very little movement ill the gram markot. TVlieat and oats «vro somewhat weaker. liran aud pollard having reached normal values again, sales have been brisk. There is a large demaud for linseed oil cake, which is being freely used lor calf feeding, with good results. Sucrosiue is lower in sympathy with pollard. Demand for root and rape seeds is decidedly good, and Ave are selling large quantities. vVo ■would like a much larger supply of porkers, and confidently invite consignments. Eggs are steady. Cheese is htill maintaining high values, and the prospects are excellent from a seller's point of view. Honey is wanted. Vegetables.—Fairly large supplies of spring cabbage aro arriving from HuLt and country districts, and fair prices arc ruling for well-packed lines. "Choice cauliflowers, which aro in short supply, are ruling at high rates. Choice !cttiice meet ready sale at satisfactory prices but inferior lines arc slow of sale. Swedes aro ruling at last week's rates. Parsnips remain dull of sale. Choice table carrots are selling at high rates, and tliere is good demand for white t.nrnips. Celery, spring onions and leckti are selling freely. There is good, demand for rhubarb, Avhich is arriving in largo quantities. A few Nelson green peas have been sold during the week at undermentioned prices. Potatoes.—North Island lines. £<i to ,17; Southern £7 to £7 10s per ton.
