A fence of any of the kinds mentioned in the Second Schedule is a sufficient fence with'in the meaning of the Fencing Act (5.7). The occupiors of adjoining lands not divided by a sufficient fence are liable to join in or contribute in equal proportions to tlio erection of a fence between such lauds, although such fence may not extend along the whole boundary line. But no occupier is liabio to contribute to any fencc which is not, m far as practicable, oontinuoas throughout its length. THE RULES OF THE IvOAD.
