In a number of cases the children will be granted limmciai aid yearly for the purchase ol' books, etc. TRAFALGAR DAY. i lie City Council haa decided that no uelebration of Trafalgar Bay will be held this year. The Mayor remarked that the battle oi Trafalgar was fought between Britain and France, and as both the Powers were loyal allies at the present time, it was a delicate question as to whether the day altould be celebrated any longer. SUICIDE OF A FARMER. Hawera, This Day James Parish, a farmer at Wliakttmara, committed suicide this morning, by hanging. ?
