(.JJy our Resident Representative.] The usual fortnightly meeting of tho -Shannon lodge of 'Druids was hold In the lodge-room on Thursday evening, and was followed by a ladies' niglit ' i the big hall. The A.D. liru. I'argher presided, and there was a small .attendance at the commencement which increased ay the niglit wore on. A quantity of correspondence was read: that referring to the subject of toys •or tho Christmas tree was held ovor fill next meeting. It -was 'decided to donate, the sum of one guinea to tho Hansen relief fund of! Levin lodge. The entertainment after the lodge was closed took 'the torm of a euchre party and dance. r ßro. Fargher supervised the card table, and Bro. Pickard was M.C. Mrs Butler, assisted by Mr Graham, supplied the music and a vory pleasant time was spent by all present refreshments being provided by the lady friends of the members of tlio lodge.
