LEVIN STOCK SALE,
The was excellent enquiry for sheep oi all classes at Messrs Abraham -aid Williams's sale yesterday, and all that were entered ■were sold, and liigh prices were realized for fat sheep. A lino of fat ewes from the Weraroa State Farm brought up to tfls 9d, and fa I wethem also from the State Farm to 2d. Other fat weathers sold to %'s 2d ; mixed hoggets sold to 20s and empty forward e'wes to 19s 9d. There was an average yarding of cattle, and for all steei's the demand was good btii i'or female stock it was slow. Fat cows sold from £8 2s to £10 16s; the hitter price Being obtained for a pen of nine,
