As previously mentioned, there ire several waysido stations at which one or more of the above trains will atop whenever passengers desire to be taken down or eot up. Local residents my ascertain which axe the trains which cater for their towns, and may then work out the time which the train >vm take to travel from the »tation in. mediately preceding.
IMPORTANT TO TRAVELLERS. Erom Ist December an express train stops at Levin daily at 11.20 p.m. to take up passengers, but those who go orth by this train will nave to p*y the full fare from Wellington to whatever place north of Levin that the jxpress stops at. At 4.10 a.m., daily, the express -ill op at Levin to pick up passengera but as no tickets are issued for either of those trains at Levin, passengers must pay the guards. Passengers by this early morning train going Bouth will have to pay the full fare from Palmertson North to Wellington.
