LEVIN STOCK SALES
Bidding at yesterday's-sales was spirited and some good prices were rea- | lized, showing a distinct improvement. Stock came forward above the number advertised. All the sheep were sold and the price of store sneep advanced. < Hoggets sold to '21s 7d; medium lat ewes'to 30s ; medium rat wethers to j 325; and-mixed fat sheep to 35s Bd. Daily cows sold up to £i to £9; store [bullocks to £9 15s; fat cows from £6 i to £8 19s, and springing ih'eifers to £7. , The demand for steers was better than usual, and all were sold at satisfactory prices.
