A general meeting or the Carnival Committee will be held m -Miss AlcKegg's rooms on Monday next, September 13th. The debate takes place on 'Monday next. The hospital train bearing the wounded soldiers for the northern towns will leave Wellington at 7.30 tllis evening and will pass through Levin at about 10 o'clock. The ordinary train tliat usually arrives at 7.40 will not arrive this evening until about 8.40.
