9 [Dy oui Resident Representative.] 'J lie I act of Mrs Hall's popular assemblies took place'in the Druids' Hall on Wednesday night. There was a large attendance and the evening passed very pleasantly. Mrs iiufcler's orchestra provided the music and her services were much appreciated. Any surplus of the recepits for the season remaining •when expenses are met will be given to the Wounded Soldiers' Fund. The Shannon school will re-open on September 14. Miss Ataynard, win has been ill. hopes to return to her duties on September 20.
