1 CHAMPIONSHIPS. The following ere the results, up to date, of the Heatherlea Golf Club championships for the women and men. The finals are to be played to-morrow, 11th inst., commencing at 2 p.m.— Women.—First Jdound: Mrs V. Hitchings beat Miss Daviee; Mrs W. M. Clark beat Miss Hatchings; 'Miss Marjorie Hitchings; & bye. Semi-finals.—Mrs Clark beat Mise Marjonie Hitchinge; Mrs V. Hitobings, a bye. The final between Mrs V. Hitchings and Mrs Clark will be played off tomorrow afternoon, when a close contest is expected. Men.—First Round: W. Hughes beat H. B. France; i>. Wallace beat Dr. Davies; V. Hitohinge beat O. Pike; AV. G. Clark beat E. W. CtafT Semi-finals.—V. Hitchings beat H. B. France; W. G. Clark won"byi default. The final for the men will be played to-morrow afternoon between V. Hitchings and W. G. Clark, which should prove an interesting contest.
