— ♦ LJ3VIN STOCK SALES. The tone of the market at yesterday's sales allowed an improvement ou that of the preceding sale, and the prices given lor I'afc stock showed, an appreciable advance. There were good entries and a satisfactory attendance of .buyers. wethers sold from 31s Id up to 3&s ,and small store wethers to 20a. There was a largo lot of young store cattle, and for these the demand was a trifle slaw, but for fat cattle it •wa« better, though 1(5 fat .bullocks were passed in at £15 los.
