Seed potatoes are in lair demand, and good lines are offering. Tiieeo are still being shipped to Australia .n large quantities. Very little business is passing in any grains excepting African maize and seed oats, lor winch there is a lair demand. Pollard and bran have fallen again in value, aaul much larger trade is now anticipated. Chaff is quiet,, and hay is liard to sell. An excellent demand continues for iarin and gratis seeds, and large quantities ol fertilisers are being booked up lor (Spring delivery. Porkers are in good demand. Eggs are stationary. Linseed oil cake meal is 111 good demand for calf feeding and eacli season sees a much larger consumption ol this pure and valuable lood. We advise clients to pass in their orders tor maize wiiile supplies are available. iiickory King maize i» now available at a price on a ' par with that of normal seasons, and orders should be booketl at once, ilie market is 'over-supplied-'with choice cauliflowers and savoy cabbage, and high prices are ruling lor well packed lines. ironbark pumpkins are scarce, and the small consignments offering meet keen competition. Choice lettuce is in short supply, and lugli rates are. ruling. tSweucs meet lair sale only, and the enquiry lor parsnips is quiet. Uhoice table carrots and white turnipe are selling at higher rates.
