V ery little business is passing in any grains excepting Alrican maize and seed oats, lor winch there is a lair demand. i'oliard and brail have fallen again 111 value, a.nd much larger trade is now anticipated. Chafl' is quiet,, and hay is hard to sell. An excellent demand continues lor farm and grass seeds, and large quantities of fertilisers are being uooked u.p lor Spring delivery. l'orkers are in good demand. Eggs are stationary. Liuseed oil cake meal is in good demand lor call feeding and each season sects a much larger consumption ol this pure and valuable food. We advise clients to pass in their orders lor maize while supplies are available. iliekory King maize is now available at a price on a par with that ol normal seasons, and orders should be booked at uiice. the market is 'over-supplied wlfn choice cauliflowers and savoy cabbage, and high prices are ruling lor well packed lines. Ironbark pumpkins are scarce, and the small consignments oll'ering meet keen competition. Choice lettuce is in short supply, and high rales .ire ruling. Swedes meet lair saie only. a.ud the enquiry for parsnips is quiel. Choice table carrols and white iuru:pn are selling at higher rates. Choice celery meet excellent demand.
