■ » ANNUAL MEETING. The annual nicotinic ol the Levin PresUylerian Church was held in the Church last evening. The number present was large .and the Rev. A. C. Raudcrson nresided. 'J'he session reuort was satisfactory) though it regretted the effect a slight shower, or even the threat of rain on Sunday, had on the attendance at th« services. The Church work progresbyd steadily during the year. The manager's (Mr .). Smellie) report stated that owing to the difliculties likely to be met with in altering Iho present buildings to make adequate provision for the future, the building schemes in connection with the Church and manse had been held over in thu meantime. Mes.srs Cork and Hughes wore re-elected, and in addition Messrs Young and W'aklie. A hearty vote of thanks was passed to the Sunday School workers and to S\v H. E. Keys (the superintendent), and Miss Williamson and Mrs Ntition. the organists. . , A vote of thanks and appreciation was accorded the Sunday (School teachers, secretary and .superintendent, and the members of the choir and choirmaster. In returning thanks for the vote the si.poritHeiidenf (Air Keys) paid a high tribute to the .services rendered by the. secretary. Mr Cork. A vote ot thanks was passed to Jir Jesse White, the late organist, for the .services he had given. A vote ol sympathy was passed Willi the Kev. J. White. All the lady workers in the Church were also accorded a hearty vote of thanks, and also the caretaker ot the I'll i well. A hearty vote of thank.s and appreciation to the Rev. Mr Sanderson was carried by acclamation. FAUIiWKLL TO I HE RKV. A. C. AND MRS RANDEIUSON. At the conclusion ot the iiieeling the opportunity was taken by the congregation to say good-bye to Kev. and Mrs Randerson. In saying good-bye on behalf of the. elders. Mr W. T. Murray dwelt on the good work done by the Rev. A. C. Handerson in Levin, and regretted his departure. He hoped that Mr and Mns Uanderson would be very happily settled in Dunedin. Mr Hughes said they had known .Mr Kaudersoii for some k.rrr or five years, and in that time lie had done a great deal for them in Levin. It Mas a painful thing to have to say good-byo ;o anyone, and he, for one. would lines line very much. Their loss woii'ld be iJmicdin's gain. On behalf of tho congregation he had much pleasure in presenting Mr Randerson with a gold watch. Also, on beliall of the con gregation. he presented .Mrs Randerson with a set of Doulton ware. Mi Cork .said he was pleased to have the opportunity to speak on beliall ol the Church managers. He was sorry th:i•: Mr and Mrs Randorson were leaving them. Jn everything that made for good Mr Randerson ahvays had a hand. They .sincerely wished 'Mr and •Mrs Randerson Godspeed and much happines's and prosperity in their now sphere of labour Mr Keys bid Mr and Mrs Handerson good-bye on behalf of the Sunday School scholars. Under Mr llanderson's guidance the school had made good progress. Air Randerson never forgot the children, and hud done all ho could for the school. He lelt keenly the departure of Mr Randerson. He wished him and Airs Randerson good-bye, and may God be with them. Rev. Randerson heartily thanked them for their kind gilU and kind word*. They appreciated the giflfi, not for their value, but lor the spirit thai prompted the giving. He felt that his ministry in Levin had fallen short of what it should have been, but he hoped that some uplifting would come of what he had done. He again thanked them kindly for their gilts an i kind words. Song? wore .sung by Airs Raiuleifsoii, and Messrs D. P. I'orleous and W. Hughes, and at the conclusion a splendid supper wax handed round.
