Wounded Soldiers
In the House of Representatives, on Thursday, Dr A. lv. a&ked the Minister in Charge •of Expeditionary Matters whether woundeu <]!\ew £ealanders were being taken to Egypt or to a better climate. Mr Allen said that tho wounded were being taken to lijgypt, Malta, and England. i'ractically all were now being taken to England. Almost ail the transports now returning to the Dominion, and to return in the future, would be bringing back wounded to the Dominion. i'lie large majority would go to England to bo brought here. He wa& informed that the next few months were tho worst time of the year in Egypt, and as lew men as possible would be left there.
