Yesterday's stock .sale proved a good, oiie,-TTie demand for sheep and cattlt* oi' all classes being particularly keen. Sheep sold well, and only one pen failed to change over to a new owner. Empty ewes brought from' 15s (3d to Ifs Gd to 21s ( Jd; fat ewes from 20k 3d to 28s; store wethers to 2us; fat wethers to 335. There was a big yarding of cattle. Fat cows sold to £7 os, £7 9s and £8 9s; store bullocks to £7 19s 6d and £8 7s (3d ;a line oi 2-year-old steers Brought from £4 15s to £6 3a, arid springing heifers to £7 15s. night porkers sold to £1 10s and small stores from 13s (3d to 18a.
