AT THE FRUIT DEPOT. The manager of the Horowhenua Fruitgrowers' Associations depot (Mr D Smart) reports for the week ending Friday .'—The local fruit season has closed now and no. fruit came to hand during the week. The demand for potatoes was good and they have sold .freely at from £7 to £7 10s for table varieties. The market lias a hardening tendency. »Seed potatoes also sold freely -a/fc from £5' 10s to £9. Onions are in fair demand with a fair supply. They sold at Id per lb.
