Local residents lay ascertain which are the trains which cater for their town 6, and may then work out the time which the train will take to travel from the station mmediately preceding. I' rom Ist December an express train stops lit Levin daily ut 11.20 p.m. to take up passengers, but those who go orth by this train will have to pay the full faro from Wellington to whatever place north of Levin that tho oppress stops at. At 4.10 a.m., daily, the express 'ill stop at Levin to pick up passengers but as no tickets are issued for eithor of these trains at Levin, passengers must pay the guards. Passengers by this early morning train going Bouth will have to pay tho full fare from Palmortson North to Wellington.
