Smart, manager ot the Horowhenua Fruitgrowers' Association do pot, reports for the week endetT yesterday:—A small quantity 'of apples came to hand , but was quite iusufficleut to meet the demand. We cleared all hand at from 7s Gd to 8s per case. The demand and prices for potatoes were good. Prices ruled at irom £5 10s for culinary potatoes to £9 10s i'o- seed potatoes. There was a fair demand for onions at Id per lb. Thirtytwo tons of mangles were disposed of at 12s 6d per ion. .Good samples of pumpkins arc selling- at <.s per sack. During the week 18 four-gal-lo i tons of red oil spray, 4 four-gallon tins of lime-sulphur, 4 kegs of Milestone and one 2-J-cwt sack's of soda were distributed among fruitgrowers during the week. These supplies were purchased on the co-operative system, and a considerable saving was effected. The Association is now arranging fov a supply of cases for its members for tjio ensuing season,
