Local residents lay ascertain which are the trains which cater for their towns, and may then work out the time whioh the train ivill take to travel from the station inmcdiately preceding. IMPORTANT TO TRAVELLERS. Prom Ist December an express train skips at Levin daily at 11.20 p.m. to take up passengers, but those who go orth by this train will have to pay the full fare from Wellington to whatever place north of Levin that the uxpress stops at. At 4.10 a.m., daily, the express 'ill stop at Levin to pick up passengers but as no tickets are issued for either of these traiDs at Levin, passengers must pay tho guards. Passengers Dy this early morning train going south will have to pay the full fare from Palmertson North to Wellington.
