There watf a capital muster of lads at the Y.M.C.A. rooms on Friday evening. '.Mr I). S. Mackenzie, furnished a "hilk" on "Effort" which was listened to with rapt attention. The remainder of the evening wae> spent on the baiw and playing games. The new coin in it too is doing its best to popularise this worthy b'ranefi and boys continue to join. The AVeraroa j£x peri mental Farm gained several valuable awards at the Panama Exhibition. The manager (Mr J. Di'j'fidale) informs us that the Kami's exhibit of cheese wns awarfle!d the gold medal; the exhibit of Rylaiul wool from the Farm, Hie silver medal, and the exhibit of Romney wool, the bronze medal. These successes, ' attained in face of competitors frrfm. all over the ivorld, prove the rino qiialiiy of the Farm producfe.
