The demand for apples continues brisk and has been particularly keen during the week. Over lOOOlbs were disposed of in one day at prices ranging from 6s to 8s per case. Table potatoes sold freely at 9s per sack, and seed potatoes at from 325 10s to £9 10s per ton; a large quantity wos disposed ot ana further enquiries have been received from Otaki and Shannon. Five and a half tons were disposed of during the week. The demand for onions was poor, an dremnin at Id per lb. STOCK SALE. High prices ruled at Messrs Abraham and Williams's Levin stock sale yesterday. Up to 3'2s Gd was realised for a line of fat owes from the Weraroa Kxperiniental Farm. Fat wethers sold to 30p and medium ewes and lambs to 2os. Light fat bullock* sold at £11 10.s and fat cows to t'S l()s. Tliore were large entries »f sheep and cattle and all sold, the bidding from the large attendance of buyers being very keen.
