From time to time we have been reading of the many successes of tho celebrated Corrick jfcntertaiiners, bint on Tuesday night we are to be afforded the privilege of hearing them in the King's Theatre. The Corricks have always been noted for putting on a clean high-class show, and the success that has always attended them shows clearly that there is no need to get down to vulgarity and suggestive'ness in giving a varied enCerTaftimeiit. Their 'lorte 'is undoubtedly (instrumental music, hut the several artists besides being instrumentalists are singers, dancers ,and humorists of much merit, and the hearty and joyous manner in which the Corricks enter into their work shows that it is a work of love, and never fails to cTiarm. the audiences. Special mention might be made of Miss Elsie Corrick, the (.•harming young lyric soprano, Miss Ruby Corick who plays the cornet and mellaphone and 'whose cornet solos aro a treat to liston to, Miss Amy Corrick, flute and picqlo, Miss Corick pianiste. and Mr Leonard Corick, saxaphone and clarionet. In their performances tho Corricks are supported by iMr Jack Bonny, a clever English vocal and character comedian who appears nightly in his inimitable role of "the fool of the family," besides introducing seme comic songs specially written for him. Mr James Carroll, the baritone, has already won a -brilliant reputation, his inclusion in the company being a wise one. A complete and' interesting programme will be given including all novelties, particularly the aluminium organ chimes, so residents are sure of a rare musical treat. Reserved seats are procurable from Mr Farhind, King's Theatre,, no extra charge being levied for hooking. M—■awwg-'
