THJtf NEW ZEALAND FARMERS' CO-OPERATIVE DISTRIBUTING COMPANY, LTD. \VEEKLY~REPORT. The potato market shows sings of weakness consequent on tue Government prohibiting export. It is however, difficult to iforecast values spread over the next few months, as crops in the couth are turning out lighted- than was expected. A good demand is setting in for seed potatoes, of which we have some excellent lines to oiler. Onions continue low in price, ibut a sharp advance may 'be looked! lor within the course of the next few weeks, as the local supply has run out. There is very little moving in either wheat, oats, or barley. We can oifer an excellent line of Java maize at a price under tha markejt rate lately ruling for this grain. We continue to make ready sales of our shipment of English rape, due to arrive next month. feTraw is in short supply, while straw chaff, both oaten and wheaten, is in fair demand. Oaten sheaf chaff is linn. The demand for pork pigs is good, and a fair supply is still coming into the market. Both fresh and preserved eggs are slow of sale. Honey is in good demand. There is a fairly heavy supply oi savoy cabbage, and low prices are being realised. The market is well supplied with cauliflowers, and prices are easier since last report. Ripe marrows and ironbark pumpkins are in short"supply, and lines offering meet keen competition at satisfactory rates. Lettuces are lower since last report. We could handle larger consignments oi choice table carrots, parsnips, and white turnips. Swedes meet fair sale inly. "Spring onions and leeks aro selling freely. Choice celery is meeting ready sale at high rates. There is a fair supply of both choice cooking and dessert apples and the market is weaker since last report. Inferior lines meet very slow safe at low rates. A good demand exists for -choice winter cole dessert pears, and the market could absorb larger consignment.
