There is very little moving in either wfie&t, oate, or barley. We can offer an excellent Hue of Java maize at a price under tha marked rate lately ruling i'or this grain. We continue to make ready sales of our shipment of English rape, due to arrive next month. Straw is in short supply, while straw chaff, both oaten and wheaten, is in fair demand. Oaten sheaf chaff is firm. The demand for pork pige is good, and a fair supply is still coming into the market. Both ifresh and preserved eggs are slow of sale. Honey is in good demand. There is a fairly heavy supply oi savoy cabbage, and low prices are being realised. The market is well supplied with cauli • flowers, and prices are easier since last report. Ripe marrows and ironbark pumpkins are in short supply, and linos offering meet keen competition at satisfactory rates. Lettuces are lower since last report. We could handle larger consignments of choice table carrote, parsnips, and white turnips. Swedes meet fair sale inly. Spring onions and leeks are selling freely.
