FRUIT. The manager of the- Horowhenua Association depot' t&porte for the week ended Saturday:— There was a very good enquiry for apples during the week but very few came" to hand. The market shows a distinct advance and prices ruled trom 6e to Bβ 6d per case. There was a good supply of onione and a fair demand obtained during the week. There wae a fair turnover in email lots at Id per lb. The potato market was brisk and prices ehowed a hardening tendency. The depot's .price etill is 9s per sack. For seed potatoes the demand wae good at from £4 10b to £6 per ton.
