N.Z. CONIFERENCE ARRANGED
Mr. A." Gro'ver,' secretary to the Levin Chamber of Commerce, is in receipt of a letter from the Wellington Chamber of Commerce in the following terms: —"The Wellington Chamber ot Commerce has received replies to its circular letter of the loth May from . the principal chambers in .New ioealand, all of which have approved of the holding of k conference in Wellington this year. The sub-committee of this chamber which was set up to receive and consider the replies lias fixed the 4th, sth and Oth August, 1915, as the dates for holding the con- . ference. Chambers are asked to submit particulars of subjects for discussion, together with the resolutions n connection with' such subject*, so that they will reach Wellington not later than Saturday, .17th July. Remits cannot be accepted after this date, as it will be necessary to circulate the subjects for discussion among all thr> at least a fortnight before the of the Conference. My Chamber that the Conference will result the advancement of commercial intereets •in the Dominion.—H. D. Tickery, Secretary. June 19. 1915.
