Henri French at King's Theatre.
Regarding Henri French, who appears at the King's Theatre, Levin, on Tuesday evening, the Vahiatua Herald *emarke:—Genius ananifeste iteelf w strange forms occasionally. This must be the general verdict and impression formed by everyone who will ibe present to witness the first appearance of that incomparable artist, Henri French, at the King's Theatre on Tuesday night. Billed as the "Great Henri French," and during 'the period he occupies the stage he does quite sufficient to satisfy hie onlookers that he has not been inaptly named. Hβ is what may be described as a pat pouri artist, combining versatility, originality and cleverness wielded together with a quaint humour that becomes irresistible. His name is now the chief topic of converea/tion in Pahiatua, and it is safe to assume that a large and enthusiastic audience will greet this little Frenchman. There will be a complete change of programme which will include some remarkably fine impersonations t several famous celebrities, past and present. This performance is stated to be remarkably fine. Another item calling for special attention is a wonderful display of sharp-shooting. The 1 charge for admission is 2s to all parts of the theatre.
