The Auckland express leaves Tho-rn-don at 1.10 p.m., and reaches Palmerston at 4.18 p.m. The Second Auckland express leave* Palinarston at 3.1 a.m. and arrives at Wellington at 0.26 a.m. The second Auckland Express leave* Wellington at 9.10 p.m. and arrvies at Levin at 11.30 p.m. l'almcrston at 12.10 a:m. As previously mentioned, there tire several wayside stations at which one or more of the above trains will stop whenever passengers desire to be t-akftn down or get up. Local residents lay ascertain which are the trains which cater for their towns, and may then work out tue time which the train 'will take to travel from the station 'mmediately preceding. IMPORTANT TO TRAVELLERS. l'rom Lsi December an express train stops at Leviu daily at 11.20 p.m. to take up passengers, but those who go orth by this train will have to piy the full faro from Wellington to whatever place north of Levin that the express stops at. At 4.10 a.in., daiiy, the express 'ill stop at Levin to pick up passenger* but as no tickets are issued for either of these trains at passengers must pay the guards. Passengers by this early morniiig train going south will have to pay the full fare from Palmertson North to Wellfngton.
