THis; NEW ZEALAND FARM KRS' CO-OPERATIVE DISTRIBUTING COMPANY, LTD. WEEKLY REPORT. As anticipated in last week's report, the value of potatoes has advanced, and seem likely to rise further. Seed potatoes are being freely enuired for x and good lines are offering, and we advise early booking. The market for onions continues dull, although good quality lines are freely offering. Oats have further advanced, the increased price being about lOd per busliel within the last ten days. Wheat is stationary. Maize is in short supply, but a shipment from overseas is expected shortly. Meals are becomming increasingly difficult to procure. Chaff is lirmer. Sup- , plies of straw are short. Linseed oil cake is in good demand. Eggs are unchanged. Muchlarger supplies of bulk | iioney could be taken by this market. Porkers have been coming steadily into the market, and no difficulty has been experienced in disposing of the quantity that has arrived lately, aij though the fact that freezing space is not procurable is undoubtedly affecting the price. Orders for molasses should reach us some time before being wanted ,as supplies are slow of delivery owing to great demand. The supply of cauliflowers has been exceptionally heavy lately, and in consequence low prices have been ruling inferior lines being difficult to quit There is a fair demand for choice savoy cabbage. Owing to the shortage of ripe marrows, high prices are ruling for lines offering. lronbark pumpkins "are enquired for, anr keen competition prevails. Lettuce are enquired for at higher rates. Swedes are dull of sale Ail root vegetables meet fair demand at last week's rates. Spring onions, leeks and celery meet ready sale. Fruit.—There is a good demand for choice cooking and dessert apples, but inferior lines meet poor sale. Choice lines of dessert pears are nought up at satisfactory rates, but cooking variesies are 6low of sale. There are a few tomatoes coming from the Hutt, and choice lines are eagerly bought up.
