Dalgety and Co., Ltd., will hold their weekly sale of live stock at Levin next Wednesday. Details are set out by advertisement in this issue. Holiday excueion fares will be avail able to travellers on the railways wno intend to visit Pamerston North next week. in a replace advertisement on page 2 of this issue Mr Wa/kley, draper, draws attention to the tact that he has complete lines of winter clothing, rugs, furs, quilts, blankets, etc., in stock. Messrs Stiles and M'atheson advertise that the best news in to-day's paper is in their new list of bargains which appears on page 2. Messrs Leong Bros draw the attention of the general public ts their new lisi of groceries, fruft and confectionery. This stock has been bought keenly and for spot cash, thus enabling the lirm to sell at the prices quoted this list. The firm thanks the general public for support given in the past, and feels sure that it will continue the same in the future. A £50 motor cycle for £&8 is the text of an advertisemnt from Robertson and Kelly, motor mechanics, Levin. Tin* cycle is a "Oalthorpe." Details appear on page 3. The cycle is guaranteed to be a noted hill climber. An auction side of dairy stock will be field at lhakara next (Saturday, on behalf of Mr Robinson, who lias sold his farm.
