Wheat is stationary. Maize is in short supply, but a shipment from overseas is expected shoitly. Meals are boeoiuming increasingly difficult to procure. Chaff is iirraei , . Supplies oi straw are short. Linseed oil cake is in good demand. iiggs are unchanged. Aluohlargor supplies of bulk honey could be taken by this market, l'orkci's have been coming steadily into the market, and no difficulty has been experienced in disposing of the quantity that has arrived lately, altnouyh the fact that freezing space is not procurable is undoubtedly affecting the price. Orders for molasses should reach us some time before being wanted ,as supplies are slow of delivery owing to great demand. The supply oi cauliflowers has been exceptionally heavy lately, and in consuijuoiico low prices have been ruling interior lines being difficult to quit J lieie is a fair-demand for choice eavoy cabbage. Owing to the shortage of ripe marrows, high prices are ruling for lines offering. lroubiu'k pumpkins are enquired for, anr keen competition prevails. Lettuce are enquired for at higher rates.
