Every effort was being Miade to market meat not required lor the Allied forces without delay. Robert Rosenthal, a spy, was arrested when about to leave England. He was travelling on a passport issued by Captain Priegor. Rosenthal admitted that Prieger issued United States passports in any name, printed on a proper form and ne on 'correct parchment. For this purpose forged dies reproducing tho seal of the United States were used. After his confession Rosenthal attempted to commit suicide by strangling himself with his bed-clothes in his cell. ITALIANS CAPTURE CORTINIA. The Italians captured Cortinia after a difficult and perilous ascent of the rocky mountain range. After the occupation their right nearly was outflanked by the Austrian infantry, buE the mountain batteries were brought up cleverly in the night and opened a deadly fire which cut off the Austrian retreat, and they were obliged to withdraw to a pine forest.
