Patriotic Concert.
'J'lw large number present at tho Century Hall last evening were given a treat b,v Profwssor Cardston and bis party of Pierrots, live women and seven men, at the concert for raising Funds for the Wounded Soldiers' Fund. The program . consisting ol sentimental songs, ragtime, recitations and dancing, was a bright and well-balanced one, and unique for a Levin platform. It went with a swing from the start, and there was no waiting between the different- i tarns, all of which deservedly were encored. Following is the list of tho items performed: Opening chorus by the whole party, the audience joining in the harmonies; songs, "Kiss me Honey, Kiss Ale" and "Always take a "Walk with Mary," Professor Cardston; songs "Valley ol" Laughter," and "The Grey Home in tho West," Miss Eve Smith; duets, "Beautiful Doll," and "I Want to be in Dixie ■Land," Messrs Cliff Baker and J. Don ; recitation, "Postage Stamps," Miss Netta Lundius; duet, "Love Me while tho Loving is Good," Miss Win O'lsen and Mr J. Don; song "Row, Row, JRow," Miss Elsie McCormaek; "Silvery Moon," Mr Cliff linker. Part ll.—lnstrumental duet (mandoline and guitar), Messuts Cliff Baker and J. Don; songs, "lie had to get out and get under," and "Michigan,'' Professor Cardston; songs, "May. Day Moons," and "'Tis the Hour of Farewell," Miss Eve Smith; recitations "At the Play," and "Tlie Bald-headed Man," Mies Marie H. Moys; song "Malinda's WedJling l>a.y," Mr J. Don ; duet, "Sue, Sue, Sue," Mwsrs J. Don and Cliff Baker; ''Scaieecrow Dance." Mr Bernard McFa<rland; "Tango Dance," Professor Cardston and Miss Elodie Marnumt.
The concert ivns concluded by the party niul the audience singing "Anlcl Lang Syne," ;in<l "God Save the iiing." During the interval two bouquots were sold by Professor Cards ton and a lady member of the party took up a collection. From these two sources a sum of £5 10s ivns received.
