Horowhenua Lodge of Druids.

The .yearly meeting of tiio Horowhenua Lodge ol' Druids was Jield in the Di aids' Hull on "Wednesday evening, when Bio. W. C. Eceletou presided over a go..d attendance ol members. Two new members "wore initiated. A total of £130 was pa-sseel tor payment; £120 of this amount being paid in death .claims. One member was reported to bo in distressed circumstances, and it was decided to circularise the lodges throughout the Dominion for assistance for him. The balancesheet was satisfactory and the lands w ere well invested. The following officers were elected: J. P.A., 15ro. \V. O. Eceloton: A. D. Bro. C. H. Judd; V.A. 13ro. "W. Macintosh; 1.u.. Bio. Rodgers; 0.G., Bio Thompson; A.D.B's.. Bros. Mason-and Lancaster; V.A.B's Bros. Turner and Winter; D.P.. Bio. I. Hook; secretary, Bio. J. i'oung; treasurer. Bro. J. MeTntyie; auditur. Bro. Holdaway ; minute secretary, Bro. Chaplin. It was decided to commence the ritual contest at the meeting to be held on July 16lh.
