Levin Stock Sales.
At their Levin sale 011 the 28th inst. ■Messrs Dalgety and Company, Limited, report having had a small yarding of both cattle and sheep. The sale all through lacked animation, and in cattle a fair proportion of entries went out unsold. The sales effected were as under :—2 lambs 9s bd, light-weight lat ewes 18s 8d to IBs lOd; vealers 30s, forward empty cows £4 to £4 tts; 2-year-old steers, poor condition, £4 /s 6d, springing heilers £<i 2s 6d; 15-months steers £2. \ ■Our next sale as advertised will be jield on Wednesday, 9th June.
