Hospital Ship night at the Lyric Pictures last night waa a huge success, despite the fact of the wet weather and the picture patrons of Levin are to be complimented on their efforts to rake funds <for such a cause. Mr Farland called this morning at the Chronicle office and requested the editor to forward the sum of £T5 (net profits) on to the Minister of Defence so that the district of Levin should' receive full credit of the same. He also desires to thank all patrons s who sold tickets 011 behalf of the Hospital Ship Fund.
