Parata was appointed to act as reioree at Otaki on oaturday, and either Mr Smith or Mr O'Connor will act as referee in Lite Levin v. Shannon match to be played on tiie Levin, Park Domain on Saturday. Permission nu,s granted to all tli« ciubs in the union to enter teams for a soven-a-side loot ball tournament on the Levin Park Domain next Wednesday in aid of the funds of the Wellington carnival. 'l'lie voting value of tho proceeds nil) be credited to the district candidate (Mies J. Mcivegg) •in the "Queen"' competition connected with the carnival.
