THE NATIONAL RESERVE.
(To tho Editor). —Mi' Field, M.P., has been taking a lot ol interest in the establishment of our National Reserve. lie is also "a member of the central executive, which comprises not only the Wellington Provincial District, but also laranaki, Hawko\s Hay and Covertv Bay. 1 lie movement is very popular, and is daily growing in strength in all parts ol the Dominion, and large branches of the reserve have been training in Auckland, Christdiurch. juid Duiiedin for months past. Wellington has only begun this last two months and a great number are joining daily. I believe Mi- 1< ield wrote .some time ago to the chairmen and mayors of various local bodies in his electorate, but up to the present no move has been made. May 1 suggest that the -\layor convene a meeting at an early d;ite to get the movement started in Levin.—T am, etc. F. G. ROE.
