On JUNE 3rd (KING'S BIRTHDAY. ITS PURPOSE IS TO RAISE FUNDS i''Oß THE ASSISTANCE OF DISABLED SOLDIERS AND SAILORS. AND TO HELP SUPPORT THE DEPENDENTS OF THOSE WHO LOSE THEIR LIVES. Our traoxis are doing their duty nobly, and the public can show appreciation of their wort and sacrifices by supporting the /CARNIVAL. Gifts of any kind are invited for e*le at the Carnival. Those irhocannot give money may possibly donate meat, vegetables, game poultry, fruits (freah and preserved), handicrafts and produce of all kinds. Anything that can be sold will make a welcome donation. No gift in money or goods will bo too huge or too small. The Carnival will have the support of the Prime Minister, Sir Joseph Ward, and all the leading citizens of Town and Country.
