— » A co-operative dairy factory is being established at Te Horo this month. A substantial capital has been subscribed by the local farmers. The name of Mr H. Denton has been dropped out of our setting of the advertisement of the program to be given in the Century Hall this evening. Mr Denton will sing a patriotic song. The training of cadets at tlio Weraroa Experimental Farm has proved so satisfactory that provision is to be made for a larger number of cadets on the farm. The number at present receiving instruction and training in agricultural work is sis, and it is intended to double the number. A commencement with the building to provide the necessary accommodation will be made in the course of a few da.ys. The Otaki Mail reports that an at-, tompt is being made to secure a. united senior football team from the district comprising Otaki Te Horo, and Waika«ae, and a meeting was called for last night (Tuesday) at the Central Hotel. Otaki, with this object in view. There are a good many first-class players in the district, and there should be no difficulty in forming a strong club.
