The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, report:—At Levin on Friday we offered a smajl entry of sheep and a, good yarding of cattle to a good attendance of buyers. Sales were made at tho following prices:— Sheep.—Light fat ewes 19s Id, 19s 2d; fat shorn lambs 13s /d. Cattle.—Fat cows (small) £5; 2£year steers £6 Cs; 18-montli to 2-year steers £5 ss; heifers with calvcs £3 3s; small ivt'ancr lieifers 10s; cows close to profit £10 15s to £11. Chile's pony £8 10s.
