THE LUSITANIA.

London, May 9

According to the best available information the Ltisitania was torpedoed about two o'clock. A signalman at Kinsale Head observed the liner in difficutlies at 2.13, and apparently the first wireless call for help was picked up at Queenstown three minutes later, and Kineale reported at 2.33 that the vessel had disappeared.

The Admiralty denies the statement that the Ltisitania carried gnns.
